{"product_id":"0014381122725","title":"Hooked\/The Flaming Teenage","description":"\"Craven dope addicts corrupt America's youth in this pair of 1950s exploitation features, brought together on DVD by the concerned citizens at Something Weird Video. Both Hooked (aka Curfew Breakers and Narcotics Squad) and The Flaming Teen-Age have been transferred to disc in their original full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and the transfers make the most of the source materials, though the plentiful stock footage in Hooked would make the film look a bit grimy even in a brand-new print, and The Flaming Teen-Age doesn't fare much better. The audio for both features has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo using the original single-channel sound mix, and the quality is quite good considering the age of the source materials. Something Weird usually load up their DVDs with plenty of bonus materials, and that's certainly the case with this release, which includes three 1950s era educational shorts on the dangers of drugs and alcohol (one from no less an authority than the National Women's Christian Temperance Union), as well as trailers for Hooked (as Curfew Breakers), The Flaming Teen-Age, and six other drug-themed shockers. Folks with a taste for classic juvenile delinquent tales with a campy aftertaste will certainly want to give this DVD a spin.\"","brand":"SONY PICTURES HOME ENT\/IMAGE","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":47084836946160,"sku":"0014381122725","price":9.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0737\/7593\/9824\/files\/0014381122725_p0.jpg?v=1763232903","url":"https:\/\/shop-qa.barnesandnoble.com\/products\/0014381122725","provider":"Barnes \u0026 Noble (DEV)","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
