{"product_id":"0027616865779","title":"Along Came Jones","description":"\"Along Came Jones is a surprising DVD release -- one of a relative handful of black-and-white Westerns available in the format, it's hardly a major title in the United Artists library, even if it does star Gary Cooper; but it is a Western and fits in neatly with the company's \"\"Western Legends\"\" series (it's probably the only black-and-white film in the series, and the only one from the 1940s). Except for a few rough spots around 71 minutes in, the source print is in very good shape, with deep contrast and lots of detail that comes out beautifully in the transfer. The volume is mastered a little bit low, as was often the case with DVDs, but it pumps up very well and cleanly, which is a big help in appreciating some of the more clever dialogue passages, though the clarity of the image also betrays the places where voices have been looped in. The 90-minute movie has been given a very generous 16 chapters, and there's also an original trailer that emphasizes the comedy somewhat more than the movie itself does. The disc opens automatically to a straightforward menu, and there's a choice of French or Spanish subtitles.\"","brand":"FOX HOME ENTERTAINMENT","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":47088119611632,"sku":"0027616865779","price":14.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0737\/7593\/9824\/files\/0027616865779_p0.jpg?v=1763787799","url":"https:\/\/shop-qa.barnesandnoble.com\/products\/0027616865779","provider":"Barnes \u0026 Noble (DEV)","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
