Big time projects come and big time projects go. This one has a list of promises. They all do. His obligation was to get this rocket off the ground and into orbit.\u003cbr\u003e The Millennium Project was conceived by a forward-looking group of scientists. They theorized and developed a genetic modification of the world’s vegetation that will cause great growth and a genetic modification to the human population to eliminate excessive aggression. \u003cbr\u003e Even though he created the Millennium Project, Dr. Devon Corder left the Project when he realized the crowning jewel of his scientific career was being bastardized by political nonsense. The actual genetic seeding will no longer work as modified. Disgusted, and with his own vast personal resources, he creates another group, the Convocation, to salvage the damaged project in any way necessary, even if it required starting several wars. He contacts Pashtock’s Raiders, a mercenary force, the largest private army and arsenal in the world. War breaks out, in the Middle East, Africa, Australia, South America. Explosions go off in New York, and Dallas is consumed in a city-wide blaze.\u003cbr\u003eGeneral Harty is deeply involved in the countdown. Attacks are occurring at the base perimeter. He wants the bird off the ground before anything can go wrong. A firefight breaks out in the prep hanger. And then the bird ignites.\u003cbr\u003e Orbiting the earth, General Harty’s space vehicle releases the Millennium Project satellite. Fifteen minutes into its release, the first viral containing the genetically modified virus is released from the satellite. Shortly after entering the atmosphere, the vial breaks open dispersing the Convocations resurrected Millennium virus. A gentle shimmering curtain descends from space. Every person and everything is touched by this viral freefall. As if just awoken, soldiers abandon their weapons and start walking toward home. Peace prevails. The Millennium Project is apparently a success. \u003cbr\u003eBut signs are occurring that indicate the genetically caused peace is reversing itself. Some individuals develop a sixth digit on their hands, while others gain extraordinary mental powers, far beyond anything any normal person could even understand.\u003cbr\u003ePerhaps the project was a success after all.","brand":"Paul H.
