When we presented the\u003cbr\u003ebook to her and copies were passed around to other family and a few\u003cbr\u003efriends, we were told we should try to sell the book. Lily's parents\u003cbr\u003egave their permission, and here we are.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWithout giving away too much of the story, I wanted to say that this is\u003cbr\u003ea good story for everyone in your family if you have kids between around\u003cbr\u003efive up to nine or ten years old.  The king is very smart and kind, the\u003cbr\u003equeen self-assured but gentle, and the prince is a bit of a scamp but\u003cbr\u003enot too much.  I tried very hard to not let the magical and high-tech\u003cbr\u003echaracters take over the story since I'm rather enamored with gadgets.\u003cbr\u003eLily is a strong character, but not perfect.  She needs a little help\u003cbr\u003efrom time to time, but she doesn't stop until the mystery is solved.  \u003cbr\u003eYou see hints of her sense of humor once or twice. At the end of the\u003cbr\u003ebook the extended family is gathering for a banquet.  Everyone wants to\u003cbr\u003ebe together.  That's the kind of family we'd like to have whether we\u003cbr\u003ehave it or are working towards it.  Although it was a lot of work, Karan\u003cbr\u003eand I had a lot of fun bringing this book to Lily, and now to you.
