The story of  Leah and Dan, a young couple who were brought together for a sweet summer that left them with memories that change their lives is the first story but the second is one of my personal favorites about a hard and seasoned newspaper reporter who is searching for something with no idea what it is or where to find it. I like it because like Roses of Stone it is a story of Beauty, Magic and of the dream. While Carmen in the story of Andrews Roses is the story of the strength of a single woman and the wisdom she gains, the following story is about a couple who have done everything right and still watches their lives crumble around them once the factory that supported the town has closed. They are almost ready to retire and facing the future with nothing when suddenly what looks like a new burden becomes a blessing. In the story Crash and Fly Maggie is a woman brought down by and invisible disorder that rips from her all she had. She lost her career and her friends and her marriage and her home and for awhile her sense of self worth until like all strong women do she found something that took her outside herself and helped her take a new look at who she is.  The next story is an historical fiction. I did a lot of research for this story and put more time I did any other story except for one. My reason for treating this story carefully was that Phebe was my ggg grandmother. She is one of the women who had a profound effect on who I am. I was raised knowing that this strong woman watched her children murdered and was taken captive and held for many months while she built her relationship with her God. Sliding in Safe at home is a story that took me a year to write but needs to be read by every victim of domestic violence because even being its author it still makes my blood chill to read the last 2 pages of it.  Victoria’s Garden shows a parallel of two different single mom’s and their methods of coping with the day to day problems that entails and of a man who saw his mistakes much too late.  The Plan is a story about any of us who ask what we would do if we could do it all over.","brand":"Cheryl Bush-Richards","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":47069843521776,"sku":"2940013237469","price":3.5,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0737\/7593\/9824\/files\/2940013237469_p0.jpg?v=1763578761","url":"https:\/\/shop-qa.barnesandnoble.com\/products\/2940013237469","provider":"Barnes \u0026 Noble (DEV)","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
