He  offered this startling insight in his 1980 book, Nicaragua Betrayed: \"I have factual evidence that the betrayal of Nicaragua was not perpetrated out of ignorance, but rather by design.\" \u003cbr\u003eSomoza was soon after assassinated.\u003cbr\u003eIs this not treason?\u003cbr\u003eJohn Lehman, Secretary of the Navy, made this shocking statement on May 25 to the 1983 Annapolis graduating class: \"Within weeks many of you will be looking across just hundreds of feet of water at some of the most modern technology ever invented in America. \u003cbr\u003e“Unfortunately, it is on Soviet ships.\"   \u003cbr\u003eIs this not treason?\u003cbr\u003eEarl E.T. Smith was the American Ambassador to Cuba when it was similarly delivered to the Communists. He makes this concise comment on July 14, 1986: \"Nicaragua is Cuba all over again.\"  \u003cbr\u003eCan you name the company that paid the Communist dictatorship in Angola over $600 million annually in taxes and oil royalties. This money bought new Soviet jets, tanks and helicopter gunships. \u003cbr\u003eAnd it paid Castro for supplying 35,000 imported Cuban mercenaries who keep the Angolan people enslaved.  \u003cbr\u003eIs this not treason?\u003cbr\u003eStressed retired Brigadier General Andrew J.
