The young couple journey to \u003cbr\u003eSouthern North American in what was then known as the\u003cbr\u003e Louisiana Territory. The couple sets a wedding date of July 16. The \u003cbr\u003ecouple would both die before the wedding date having never worn \u003cbr\u003ethe rings.\u003cbr\u003e      At this point it was realized by higher powers that the rings \u003cbr\u003ewere meant for the greater good, the birth of the second coming, \u003cbr\u003ethe blessed child.  Insight of this, seven Legions were brought\u003cbr\u003e together to help in the journey the rings would take, and the\u003cbr\u003e protection eventually of the couple that would bring the \u003cbr\u003eBlessed Child to be.\u003cbr\u003e      After the deaths of the first couple the rings\u003cbr\u003e resurfaced every twenty-five years.  Couples who came into\u003cbr\u003e possession of the rings would share the same fate after picking \u003cbr\u003ethe same date of July 16. That was until Vance Leblanc in 1982 came\u003cbr\u003e across and bought the rings in a small shop in the French Quarter. \u003cbr\u003e Vance would become the first person to be in possession of the\u003cbr\u003e rings and actually place one on his finger and wear it. He then\u003cbr\u003e has the other delivered to the young lady he felt should have it. \u003cbr\u003e Years would past and the ring on Vance's finger, with\u003cbr\u003e all its power, would seek out and find its mate.  Only problem\u003cbr\u003e is that Vance, having given up on ever finding the one that got away\u003cbr\u003e settles and asks someone else, Kylie Melancon, to marry him.  Trouble begins \u003cbr\u003ewhen he finds the wearer of the matching ring, 'Celeste Duhé. \u003cbr\u003eHe pursues her then tries to break it off with Kylie but she threatens \u003cbr\u003eto destroy him.  \u003cbr\u003e     The legions step in and do everything in their powers to make\u003cbr\u003e sure Vance and Celeste get together and stay together. Which is \u003cbr\u003emade even more difficult when Evil itself steps in.
