Obviously, this means foregoing the traditional publishing route with agents, editors and publishing houses and instead becoming your own gatekeeper\/clearinghouse, whether you hire others to help you along the way or not.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eSecond, a clarification.
