They\u003cbr\u003ecalled them Siberian blood-hounds then, but the dog-fanciers got hold\u003cbr\u003eof them, and they became, with their sinister obtrusiveness, a feature\u003cbr\u003eof the shows; the breed was defined more clearly, and now they are\u003cbr\u003eknown as Great Danes or Ulms, indifferently. How they originated I\u003cbr\u003enever cared to learn. I imagine it sometimes.
