I trust your interest in\u003cbr\u003etheir various doings along the line of scoutcraft will be strong\u003cbr\u003eenough to induce you to secure the previous volumes in this series in\u003cbr\u003eorder to learn at first hand of the numerous achievements they have\u003cbr\u003eplaced to their credit.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe boys comprising the original Red Fox Patrol won the beautiful\u003cbr\u003ebanner they own in open competition with other rival organizations.\u003cbr\u003eFrom that day, now far in the past, Stanhope Troop has been known as\u003cbr\u003ethe Banner Boy Scouts. Its possession has always served as an\u003cbr\u003einspiration to Paul and his many staunch comrades. Every time they see\u003cbr\u003eits silken folds unfurled at the head of their growing marching line\u003cbr\u003ethey feel like renewing the vows to which they so willingly subscribed\u003cbr\u003eon first joining the organization.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMany of their number, too, are this day proudly wearing on their\u003cbr\u003echests the medals they have won through study, observation, service,\u003cbr\u003ethrift, or acts of heroism, such as saving human life at the risk of\u003cbr\u003etheir own.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI trust that all my many young readers will enjoy the present volume\u003cbr\u003efully as much as they did those that have appeared before now.
