Get those two screws\u003cbr\u003eat the front of the DVD drive after removing the IDE cable and Yellow cord\u003cbr\u003efrom the motherboard. You may have a little difficulty removing the DVD\u003cbr\u003edrive, it does not slip out easily but as long as you have the two screws in the\u003cbr\u003efront and the two cables in the rear removed it can come out, again the trick is\u003cbr\u003eto go straight up.\u003cbr\u003eNow with the drives gone it is starting to look like a normal PC.\u003cbr\u003eRemoving the power cord from the motherboard. Most sites tell you to use\u003cbr\u003epliers to remove the power plug; it is in there pretty good. I personally pull on\u003cbr\u003ethe wires themselves, I risk yanking a wire out of the crimp in the socket, and\u003cbr\u003eif I screw one up I am willing to repair it. Use your best judgment, the key is to\u003cbr\u003egrab half of the wires and pull evenly on all of them at a 45 degree angle, to\u003cbr\u003eraise one side of the plug first and then the other, it will not come out straight\u003cbr\u003eup.\u003cbr\u003eOnce the power cord is removed from the motherboard and the two mounting\u003cbr\u003escrews are off the power supply, grasp the heat sink on the power supply or\u003cbr\u003euse the cord that was going to the motherboard to move it about a quarter\u003cbr\u003einch forward, this releases the power supply from the plastic tabs that hold it\u003cbr\u003edown on the side opposite the screws. Now the front of the power supply can\u003cbr\u003ebe raised to allow the leading edge to clear the front of the case and it can\u003cbr\u003esafely be pulled forward and removed.\u003cbr\u003eStep 6 - Eleven screws on the motherboard\u003cbr\u003eRemove them all and be careful not to scratch the surface of the board with\u003cbr\u003ethe driver.\u003cbr\u003eStep 7 - Board removal\u003cbr\u003eYou will need to disconnect the yellow wires coming from the fan, power and\u003cbr\u003ereset switches and also the connections to the USB game controller ports, the\u003cbr\u003eUSB daughter board itself can be left in place or removed. To remove the\u003cbr\u003emotherboard lift the front to a 25-degree angle as shown in the picture it can\u003cbr\u003ethen be pulled forward and removed.\u003cbr\u003eYou should now have a pile of parts like this\u003cbr\u003eTo get to the power and reset buttons you will need to remove the front\u003cbr\u003efaceplate. I have only done this by completely disassembling the case\u003cbr\u003eincluding the fan and inner tray. By doing this bottom of the case becomes\u003cbr\u003eflexible and you will have an easier time popping off the front. You will find\u003cbr\u003ethree tabs inside the case that are holding it, careful these are fragile. To get\u003cbr\u003ethe plate off you will need to loosen the three and both sides of the front plate\u003cbr\u003ewhere it clips to the sides of the case (the side clips are the most difficult), all\u003cbr\u003ethree inside tabs need to be loosened simultaneously while popping off one\u003cbr\u003eside or the other of the front plate.
