Now,\u003cbr\u003ethere are some very good anti-virus programs out there that are being sold. But if\u003cbr\u003eyour financial ability is somewhat limited, you really do not have to buy expensive\u003cbr\u003eanti-virus programs.\u003cbr\u003eYes, you must have an anti-virus program on your computer. There isn’t any\u003cbr\u003edoubt about that one. The Internet is full of creeps that get their jollies by\u003cbr\u003einfecting computers with viruses, worms and trojans. You don’t want that to\u003cbr\u003ehappen to you or your computer.\u003cbr\u003eThere are those that spend their every waking hour just dreaming up new and\u003cbr\u003einsidious ways of making problems for the rest of us. Luckily, there are just as\u003cbr\u003emany good folks out there that spend their time figuring out how to keep them\u003cbr\u003efrom doing it to us.\u003cbr\u003eTwo of the best known anti-virus programs out there are Norton and McAfee and\u003cbr\u003eboth of them are very good programs. Both of them are also rather expensive.\u003cbr\u003eMcAfee is more expensive than Norton but neither one of them are really cheap\u003cbr\u003eand they are certainly not free.\u003cbr\u003eHowever, there is also a very good one that is absolutely free. AVG has many\u003cbr\u003eanti-virus and other security programs available but they also have a free\u003cbr\u003eversion. This free version works very well and provides ample protection. You\u003cbr\u003e3\u003cbr\u003ecan find this free program at AVG (http:\/\/www.grisoft.com\/doc\/products-avg-antivirus-\u003cbr\u003efree-edition\/lng\/us\/tpl\/tpl01).\u003cbr\u003eFirewalls\u003cbr\u003eMost computers today come with built-in firewalls. Windows added that feature to\u003cbr\u003eXP.
