His first \"Berry\" story was published in Pearsons Magazine. Subsequently many of his stories were collected and published in book form. Some of his stories that appeared in Windsor Magazine were collected and republished as a book under the title The Brother of Daphne (1914). The \"Berry\" books introduce Yates's character Bertram \"Berry\" Pleydell and family — \"Berry \u0026amp; Co\".
