2940015018523
TC Thornfyre
"TC Thornfyre" is a profound novel of romance, action, and science, with an outstanding but flawed hero, a brilliant heroine, and an unforgettable villain. The tale, not a story of war, begins at “Frozen Chosin Lake” during the Korean War, a location that is the “gathering place” of characters who will reappear in suspenseful action throughout the novel. Propaganda Films, in reviewing this story positively, spoke of it as having “creative writing,” and a “marvelous villain, the action taking place in five major locations on the planet.
The Korean War only serves as the backdrop for the major story about a dedicated research scientist and a woman who has stepped through the “glass ceiling” to become a star in computer science and research. Together they develop the fascinating fictional scientific apparatus known by the media as the "Holy Grail," which opens new doors of applications in all areas of industry and science.
Our hero, TC, struggles through life are long and dangerous. In watching him overcome obstacles, we are reminded of life's lessons of perseverance in the face of adversity and what appear to be insurmountable odds, as well as the need to let go of the past in order to move forward toward our ultimate goals.
TC and Myko's love story was planted in the field of battle and comes to fruition in the Nobel Award for Science. Seldom in history has there been a love affair where fate pulled the strings of romance so capriciously. We share in the triumph of seeing how their great love can overcome all the evil and hate spewed forth by a tragic villain. The reader will adore TC’s indomitable secretary who obtains and manages TC’s grants for his scientific research, pulling with expertise, all the strings she had learned about in her long service in the office of the Dean in the Philadelphia hospital. Likewise, the red-haired giant Canadian soldier, Barabas who becomes TC’s companion in battle and friend in peace, is, in himself, a most astounding and complicated character in this story. A great credit to the story is that all characters have a three dimensionality in time and action which furthers the sense of immediate reality which pervades this story literally from birth to death.

The final dramatic scenes are filled with suspense, reminiscent of the famous chase in the movie, "The French Connection with screaming sirens, hovering helicopters and a spectacular finale in Stockholm’s bay side Christmas store in Old Town.
