His son, Clarence kidnaps Lyra and takes her back to Lord Arnice, while his other son, Nickolas seeks to aid her. With the help of Eric, and Lord William, Nickolas goes to her rescue. A betrayal of allies leads Nickolas in a trap. With a weakened Lyra in his arms he is forced to run from a confrontation with his brother. Lyra frees a dragon, long since extinct, who agrees to aid them in their endeavor. Lord William is captured by Arnice and Lyra returns to help with his rescue. A face off between Nickolas and Clarence leaves Lyra alone for the final confrontation with Lord Arnice. \u003cbr\u003eArnice's defeat leads to a return to peace.
