When McCormack's got the horse they came straight out to Goold and\u003cbr\u003eaccused him of working the horse; this was false, and Goold was amazed at\u003cbr\u003ethe idea I could not help laughing to hear Mrs. McCormack accusing him of\u003cbr\u003eusing the horse after him being so kind as to send his boy to take him\u003cbr\u003efrom the Ruta Cruta and take him back to them.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI pleaded Goulds innocence and Mrs McCormack turned on me and accused me\u003cbr\u003eof bringing the horse from Greta to Goolds waggon to pull him out of the\u003cbr\u003ebog I did not say much to the woman as my Mother was present but that\u003cbr\u003esame day me and my uncle was cutting calves Gould wrapped up a note and a\u003cbr\u003epair of the calves testicles and gave them to me to give them to Mrs\u003cbr\u003eMcCormack.
