This is a wonderful way for his grandparents (Greg and Liz Taylor) to encourage, participate and assist in his future.   Those grandparents are publishers and authors in their own right, so the progression was very natural and their names are on the cover with Gavin’s. Gavin was 7 years old, when he developed these books and they are designed for readers aged 7 and up.  Now, at 11, he is considering more advanced cookbooks that actually contain measurements and more true recipe information.  His efforts impressed his sister Ani enough that she is completing her first cookbook at 9 and has at least two more planned as Ani the Chef.  \u003cbr\u003eEmphasis is on adult supervision to ensure safety in all respects, including the quality of food.  Ingredients used are \"off-the-shelf\" and brand names are visible, but no credits are provided.  Adults are shown participating, and a family environment is clearly evident. These cookbooks are designed to share Gavin's efforts and the nine books to date are formatted in the same manner for consistency. Read with your child and enjoy the experience.
