So, like a rehearsed movement in a cowboy shootout drama, I pushed the “Goonie Button” under my desk. The Goonie Button is to alert many other Security Guards to an emergency need. At least one-half dozen guards responded quickly and upon seeing this giant inmate became timid; even with the ”paper tiger” guards, the involved inmate calmed down. I believe the inmate felt sorry for such uncharacteristically wimpy guards! A spiritual application, such as I Thessalonians 1:6-7, is that we may receive the Word in much affliction.
