Seven years after its creation, and years after having been prevented from power even despite winning elections, things started going wrong as the idea of the exclusive agenda embodied in personal interest resurfaced. But hardly anyone imagined at the turn of the last century that the party's top leadership would conciliate with the Biya regime and the system just like the other two prominent so-called opposition parties.
