If Victor does as he asks, he will go away with the new creature and never bother Victor again. Victor agrees and begins the work of creating a companion for the creature. But he is afraid that this new monster might be more evil, and two creatures might create a new, horrible race of beings. So instead of completing his task, Victor destroys his work before giving life to the new creation. This makes the monster angry. He kills Victor’s best friend, and later kills his bride on their wedding night.\u003cbr\u003eVictor vows to follow the creature and destroy it.
