The mother is a painter and the father a furniture designer.\u003cbr\u003eTims’s success from Blood Wedding rewards him with an opportunity to direct another Lorca play at the University Of New Mexico.\u003cbr\u003eTim accepts and travels first to Santa Fe with an actress, Liza Farquar, from his play who becomes his lover, but within weeks she disappears mysteriously. He spends his summer in Taos at his future sister-in-law’s house. Tim pines for Claire even though there is little chance of their being reunited. He moves to Albuquerque to start work. In Los Angeles, a matchmaker is changing Claire’s life, but not for the better because of her love for Tim.\u003cbr\u003eTim accepts his loss of Claire but keeps up a communication with Claire through the mail. They express their love for each other, but Claire in accepting her fate, tells Tim to go on with his life. He soon meets a young Hispanic Archeologist, Anjelica, at the university. They develop a loving relationship knowing they have no future because of Claire and Anjelica’s travels to distant archeological sites. After many difficulties, the second Lorca production is another success. While on tour in Santa Fe at the La Fonda, Timothy encounters some Dallas friends who reveal why Liza disappeared, She had used Timothy to get pregnant. Timothy accepts an offer to stay and work in the University Drama Dept. Anjelica takes him on a revelatory and sensual camping trip. While spending his Christmas vacation in Taos, Tim finds out he must travel to California and rescue Claire from an abusive family situation. She has been very sick from depression and a shocking miscarriage.\u003cbr\u003eClaire’s father follows them to Taos causing a violent confrontation that brings about his death.
