Like all of Dickens's Christmas books, it was published in book form, not as a serial.[2] Dickens described the novel as \"quiet and domestic [...] innocent and pretty.\"[2] It is subdivided into chapters called \"Chirps\", similar to the \"Quarters\" of The Chimes or the \"Staves\" of A Christmas Carol. It is the third of Dickens's five Christmas books, preceded by A Christmas Carol (1843) and The Chimes (1844), and followed by The Battle of Life (1846) and The Haunted Man and the Ghost's Bargain (1848).","brand":"Readings LLC","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":47083884740848,"sku":"2940157353896","price":0.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0737\/7593\/9824\/files\/2940157353896_p0.jpg?v=1764095159","url":"https:\/\/shop-qa.barnesandnoble.com\/products\/2940157353896","provider":"Barnes \u0026 Noble (DEV)","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
