2940158159145
Secrets Hidden by Military Duty
A story of a Delta Force trained soldier gets out of the Army and moves back to his home state of Wyoming. He is educated with a Masters Degree in Architectural Engineering where he designs buildings, bridges, houses, golf courses, and much more. Although being an architectural engineer provides a sense of accomplishment, it doesn't provide the adrenaline rush he got so used to doing black ops with his Delta Force team. Being an expert in demolition, marksmanship, and killing among other things, he finds a new way to regain the adrenaline rush he once acquired doing his daily job. With fifteen years of service in the military, he doesn't want to throw away his chance to get a military pension, so he joins with a local Army Reserve Unit in Wyoming.
Even though he was still part of a military group, the maneuvers once a month and 2 weeks every year didn't provide what he so longed for. Being a husband and a father of 2, he had to be discreet in what he chose to reinvigorate him with adrenaline. Did he turn to visiting hookers at truck stop motels? No. Did he turn to having an affair with the pretty, young, newly married, stay at home wife down the street? No. Did he turn to illicit drugs like cocaine, heroine, or ecstasy? No. What he turns to get that adrenaline high he so craves is so much more dangerous. Murder.
Sitting or lonely, quiet dimly lit back roads waiting on his unsuspecting prey to come along, his veins coursed with throbbing of the adrenaline. Raising the hood of an old car he keeps in a storage locker and waits for the unsuspecting female to stop to render assistance. His training as a special ops soldier taught him how to be careful not to leave traces of evidence, be stealthy, and efficient. Although the training he was provided with wasn't intended to be utilized in psychopathic ways. All it takes is the smallest of mistakes to leave behind a trace of DNA with a hair, a drop of blood, or any number of incidental scrapes of skin under a victims finger nails. Will this highly trained, finely tuned, smooth running machine of a soldier make a mistake that will lead to his downfall? Well, I guess we'll have to follow the story through his travels as an architect, a father, his deployments with the military and all his other travels to find out who will put the pieces together first.
