9780615532417
Exposed!: Signs of Impurity
The problem of impure leaders has plagued us since the beginning of time. This book is a parable that captures Biblical history of impure religious leadership that has afflicted Christianity since its inception and continues to do so today.
I don't mean to insult your intelligence, but in case you don't know, a parable is a factitious story that illustrates (in this case) a religious principle. It might also be used to illustrate a moral point of view. In that case, it would be no more than a fable. Given that fact, let me reassign the nomenclature of this book: For some of you this will be a parable. For others, it will be a fable.

The difference in parables and fables is that the former points out truths about one's religious views while the latter just points out ideologies accepted as commonly wholesome.

For those of you who are not fascinated by biblical facts and Christian principles - you're probably thinking, "Not interested." Before you move on; though, let me say this: This is not your average Sunday School Bible story. Yeah, the story between the two covers traces the historical steps of Christianity as it exposes impurities connected to its beginnings; but, I'm fairly certain you know impure leadership within "religion" is not restricted to us Christians. In fact, we all know it's not even restricted to "religion." All of life has this issue with which it must contend.

So, even though you may view the story overall as a fable; I believe it will prove to be a most interesting and comprehensible fable. I believe it will stay true in accomplishing the goal of fables - provide you a refreshing story and in the process offer you a few very good morals to live by or at least live with... We all can use a few of those, can't we?

For those who read this and are familiar with biblical facts and Christian principles, I trust this story will prove to be not just a fable, but rather a very informative and eye-opening parable. I pray it will assist in recognizing religious impurities before they have an adverse effect on your faith.

In either case, enjoy!

One Reader's Review:

The idea of using a parable to relate the story of a person who could be any one of us was ingenious. I started to read your parable and the chills started, to say the least, and I knew I was a goner. I knew I would be up late at night, quickly turning the page to read on through all hours of the night to get to the moral of your story. It's amazing that one who made all attempts at being good and who thought they were on the right path could fall so far so fast. Anyone could pick up this book and read it without feeling as if they were being forced to read some "religious" book. It was a parable, so powerful in its delivery, that it could relay with political correctness the tale of a person whose life was changed by the actions of those they trusted and believed in. It's a tale that all of us could relate to in having been disappointed by those whom we have lifted to such heights that God himself must look down at us and laugh. - Snyder Faustin, BCaBA
