The committee's objective was to determine if hardness testing on inservice\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eline pipe could be an acceptable alternative to the destructive testing or low yield stress\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003erequirements of DOT\/OPS.
