I then gave birth to my daughter in 1983.\u003cbr\u003eIt was hard trying to raise a child and further my education as well. I just keep on with one thought in my mine that I can do it. Later in my life I got involved with children.\u003cbr\u003eI fi rst started out volunteering at local hospital that had children corners so children can wait while there siblings or parents see the doctor. Then I became an educator for children. I am now an Assistant Program Director for an After School Program run in N.Y.C Schools.
