Another poem, \"Grand Guardian,\" was inspired by real people.  It is, though, written to a wider population who may be in the same circumstances as the individual whose silent, passionate voice we hear as we read, and the human subjects that the individual addresses.\u003c\/p\u003e     \u003cp\u003eOther poems in the collection are reflections on Almighty God and the love he has for his people and creation.  Still others have personal thoughts that I want to sharewith you as well as those who are special to my heart.\u003c\/p\u003e     \u003cp\u003eA PASSAGE INTO LIFE is for people who are hurting; also for hopeful people, joyful \u003cbr\u003epeople, people of faith, and people who have little faith or no faith.   It is for saint and\u003cbr\u003e sinner alike.  It is to help anyone who has been hurt mentally, physically or spiritually.  It\u003cbr\u003e is also for anyone who harms others in a big way or small way, any way at all.\u003c\/p\u003e      \u003cp\u003eI believe that everyone who finds himself or herself in trouble in this life can find\u003cbr\u003e a way out.  You will need the help of others who love the Lord God, who genuinely care\u003cbr\u003e about what happens to you.  They may not always seem to do things the right way-your\u003cbr\u003e way. They may seem like they are hypocrites or insincere at times, or seem harsh, giving\u003cbr\u003e you some \"tough love.\"  But they can be your stepping stone, to lift you up out of deep\u003cbr\u003e despair, disgrace, shame, unhappiness and hopelessness if you are willing to listen to the\u003cbr\u003e voice of the Lord in His grace and wisdom, and believe the Lord will help you.\u003c\/p\u003e     \u003cp\u003eThe voice and word of God tells us of the good and the evil things that happen in\u003cbr\u003e this life. When we find ourselves facing problems, troubles or the worst of evils, God can\u003cbr\u003e lead us to what is good and perfect through Jesus Christ.  When some people have done\u003cbr\u003e things to harm and hurt you, call the Lord!!!  God can pick you up and lead you into\u003cbr\u003e healing, goodness, and wholeness so that you will be able to keep on going in this life no\u003cbr\u003e matter what may happen or what may have happened to you in the past.\u003c\/p\u003e       \u003cp\u003eIt is important that you believe God is real, and that this real, living God who \u003cbr\u003e created us all and all things in the world and beyond, is not just somewhere out there, but\u003cbr\u003e always near to you and the situation you may find yourself in, whether you've been\u003cbr\u003e listening to him or not.  Learn what God can do to and for all kinds of people and what\u003cbr\u003e He has done through Jesus Christ with people who lost belief and faith in God, or who\u003cbr\u003e have stopped paying attention to Him.  If you never knew God-or about God-or you\u003cbr\u003e lost your belief and faith in Him, you must learn or re-learn about this Creator and keeper\u003cbr\u003e of us all.  The Holy Scriptures-the Bible, the word of God-is the key.  It is important to know\u003cbr\u003e that someone faithful to the Lord God can help you understand.  Pray, and ask God\u003cbr\u003e about this.\u003c\/p\u003e     \u003cp\u003eI believe in God through Jesus Christ.  You may guess that I am a member of\u003cbr\u003e the Christian faith-a sinner-who sometimes thinks she is doing the right\u003cbr\u003e thing, the best thing, only to find she has made mistakes in judgment or in \u003cbr\u003e what she has done, without knowing better or thinking that it was right or\u003cbr\u003e the better thing to do at the time.   I am not perfect:  I am not God or Jesus. \u003cbr\u003e  What I am is a sinner saved by the special grace of God through the love of Jesus\u003cbr\u003e Christ.  I am always hoping, praying and trying to be a better person in the\u003cbr\u003e heart and eyes of God each day...and I hope that you-also a sinner-will\u003cbr\u003e allow yourself to be saved by that very special grace that only God is able to give.\u003c\/p\u003e      Yours in Christ, who saves,   Laura J.
