He fought alongside Peralte to liberate his beautiful Island from invaders. Thereafter, Neiron, king of Vilcapan had killed for personal reason scores of Ubambanos living in his territories. Ubamba and Vilcapan were the only two nations of Tamborin. Neiron head was cut in retaliation for these atrocities. After all, Shanaz and her father had moved to Valparaizo, a city of Ubamba fearing for their lives. It was right there that Shanaz had met Jodel  and his older sister Rubina.   Chapter 2  Now Jodel dedicated his time to learn Shanaz neighborhood or Valparaiz’s  livelihood. There were two main areas there: a suburban for the general population and outskirts where the populace got their food supply. At three years old the young Jodel  was already detached from his parents to live with Rubina  in Valparaizo hoping to get better education.  He investigated the livelihood of Valparaizo. He acquired a dog named Bulky in order to keep him company.  He went to a hougan hutch because he wanted to learn about the voodoo secrecy. That day this man took Bulky and attempted to slice his throat in order to have him for diner. Jodel managed to save Bulky. They both run for their lives and they were saved.  Chapter3   Jodel searches for the cause of the disappearance of so many people in Valparaizo. He wanted to know why voodoo had created so much terror in the city. He investigated everyone including Shanaz’s participation in it. He traveled everywhere with his dog for such purpose. At some point he took him to the meat market to find scrap to feed him because he did  not have enough money to buy him food. He discovered not only Alcika was a dog eater but also he was the main cause of the disappearances of Valparaizo’s kids. And he would never forget Wilfrid, one of his best friend that he had killed. Chapter 4 Bulky became too big; he could not afford to feed him anymore. He decided to give him to Shanazin order  to help her with a dying restaurant’s business. Shanaz kids including the governors welcomed Bulky like a family member in their home. Because of the animal input, their load of work decreased and business improved. Bulky coached the kids to go to school in the morning when he returned, he would keep Shanaz company on her way to the supermarket. Jodel felt great about it.  Chapter 5 Now, Rubina wanted to retaliate because Jodel did not ask her for permission before giving  the dog away.  She grounded him for days. Jodel decided to search for answer to his problem in the voodoo. Bulky took him company once more to go and seek advice from Alcika. He hoped that he would find peace with Rubina. Colas, his Boy Scout friend was present as well in the ordeal. Chapter 6 The animosity between the two continued on and on. Jodel had decided this time to run away. He ended up to Terralta, the city capital of Ubamba where he met Baltazar, a Roman Catholic bishop in a Monastery. He joined over night the Boy Scout’s group. He was given room and board as a member of such association. He was more than welcome there because he won a price for the group in a contest for a poem entitled LIKE. Unfortunately, Jodel had to return home because he was home sick.  Chapter 7 When he returned, Rubina was not around. He decided to go and see Shanaz hoping to see Bulky. He found out that he was missed by everyone including Bulky.  Jodel thought after all how much he was loved; he regretted what he had done. When he met Rubina face to face, she was in tears because she missed him too. She finally made peace with him. Now Rubina asked Shanaz to join with her to create program for Jodel and her kids in order to prevent the worse in the future.
