Colby Award-winning KONTUM: THE BATTLE TO SAVE SOUTH VIETNAM, published by the University Press of Kentucky. He has also published many magazine articles on military history and biography. He is a retired U.S. Army officer who received the Combat Infantry Badge, Purple Heart, and several decorations for valor while serving in Vietnam.
