Istanbul Ferrous \u0026amp; Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters’ Association (İDDMİB)\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eorganizes the first national participation to Spring Fair with the participation of 10\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ecompanies in Birmingham, on 5-9 February, 2017. The Turkish pavilion will be held at Hall\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e9, and will also be the sponsor of the Seasons’ Lounge at Spring Fair. Should you attend\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSpring Fair, please come and visit the Turkish Housewares Pavilion as well.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMeanwhile, we would like to give you an update on the exciting work that the\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTurkish housewares and kitchenware sector has been undertaking.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWe organized the first overseas activity under the Development of International\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCompetition (UR-GE) project for Turkish housewares sector in Indonesia and Vietnam.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e21 companies from Turkish Housewares UR-GE Project participated in this organization\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ewhich took place on March 20-27, 2016. The project has been organized by Istanbul\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eChemicals and Chemical Products Exporters’ Association (İKMİB) and Turkish Housewares\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eManufacturers Association(EVSİD).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAs for the second stop in our efforts to enhance the sector’s competitiveness, we chose\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFrance. 29 companies from Turkish Housewares UR-GE Project attended this organization.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eLast but not least we travelled to both Peru and Mexico. 19 companies from the UR-GE\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ejoined this organization.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn this issue we have included a Brand Story about one of the leading companies in Turkey:\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePaşabahçe. You can get an insight on Paşabahçe, that attracts a wide customer base with\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003emore than 20.000 products that are manually and automatically manufactured.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePaşabahçe exports its products into 140 countries and 65 percent of their sales are taking\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eplace in foreign markets outside Turkey.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWe have also covered the stories and export activities of Linens, S’ra Home, Guestinhouse\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eand Arnica. We have interviewed some of the leading design talent in the kitchenware\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003esector, namely with Bilge Dilsiz, Derya Kundur, Robin Yayla and Furkan Ayhan. As we learned\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eabout their stories we also had a chance to take a closer look at their works. Ersin Avşar, the\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003echef of Palomar Bar \u0026amp; Restaurant at the Purl Hotel claimed in his interview that “One never\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003estops learning in the cooking sector!”.
