"Initially aired in national syndication between 1957 and 1959, the police drama series State Trooper starred Rod Cameron as Officer Rod Blake, a policeman named Chief Investigator for the Nevada State Police, who spent his days tooling through Reno, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and other communities, where he fought crime and rampant corruption. Assisting him in these escapades were two men: Sheriff Elder (Don Haggerty) and Sheriff Anderson (Robert Armstrong). The series achieved distinction for its much-touted realism, adapted as it as was from the files of the Nevada State Police. This collection contains all 39 episodes from the program's debut season."
