"Robert Enrico's adaptation of Ambrose Bierce's An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge, which originally aired on American television in the '60s as a segment of The Twilight Zone, arrives on DVD with a standard full-frame transfer. Sadly, the print utilized for this disc has obviously suffered a great deal from the effects of aging. The film looks washed out and lacks clarity. The soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. Supplemental materials are limited to an abbreviated biography of Bierce and a series of discussion topics that all concern themselves with the written story rather than the film itself. This is a disappointing title from Monterey Home Video."
