"Elizabeth Taylor won her first Best Actress Oscar for her role in this tragic romance, presented here as a two-sided disc. One side features a standard full-frame version while on the flip side there is a widescreen anamorphic (aspect ratio of 2.35:1) version. Overall, the colors are a bit soft (which is a pity since the film was nominated for a Best Cinematography Oscar). Aside from that and a few pock marks, the print looks fine. The disc has a ""Cast and Crew"" listing, which features brief bios and credits for actors Elizabeth Taylor, Laurence Harvey, and Eddie Fisher (there is no info for the ""crew""). There is also a theatrical trailer included. In the ""Languages"" section are the choices for English Dolby Digital 1.0 Mono and French audio and subtitles. While not a notable disc, it is certainly satisfactory."
