Village of the Damned/Children of the Damned

"One of the biggest cult favorites of 1960s British horror is paired up with its worthy sequel for this spooky double-feature DVD. Both Village of the Damned and Children of the Damned have been given letterboxed transfers to disc in the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1, which have been enhanced for anamorphic play on 16 x 9 monitors. The audio for both films has been mastered in Dolby Digital Mono; in addition to their original English-language soundtracks, both movies also feature alternate French-dubbed tracks, as well as optional subtitles in English, French, and Spanish. Village of the Damned includes a commentary track from author and horror film authority Steve Haberman, while Children of the Damned screenwriter John Briley contributes a commentary for that film. Finally, the original theatrical trailers for both pictures are included as a bonus."
