In this film, Elvis Presley stars as Lucky Jackson, a hopeful race-car driver in the titular city who exchanges romantic sparks with swimming instructor Rusty Martin. Working as a casino waiter, Lucky hopes to save enough money to buy a winning engine for his participation in the upcoming Grand Prix.
