"Alfred Hitchcock's superb Spellbound comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer (as should any film produced before 1955). The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are neither subtitles nor closed-captions on this release. The lack of extras may turn off some viewers, but the low list price and the high quality of the film itself make this disc worth a look. Anyone with an interest in the work of the Master will certainly want to check out this DVD."
