Evil Dead: Anniversary Edition

Filled with stomach-churning non-stop violence and gore, this low-budget horror outing has become a cult classic and inspired a pair of imaginative sequels. The story centers on a quintet of college students who go to a mountain cabin to relax during a break. The discovery of an ancient copy of the Sumerian Book of the dead and a tape explaining how to use it causes them to do some experimentation that results in all but one turning into demons and suffering agonizing deaths. Ash, the survivor, then sets off to send the demons back to their resting place.
