Indecent Desires/My Brother's Wife [Special Edition]

"Doris Wishman, Queen of '60s sexploitation and the woman with the most distinctive visual sense in the business (what's with the feet and the ashtrays, anyway?) has two of her features upgraded to DVD on this double-bill release from Something Weird Video. Both Indecent Desires and My Brother's Wife have been transferred to disc in the full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and the source materials are in surprisingly good shape, which makes the most of the occasionally dodgy camera work. The audio has been transferred in Dolby Digital Mono; the dialogue is in English, with no multiple language options included. As always, Something Weird has given this release a healthy portion of bonus material including trailers for no fewer than 13 Doris Wishman pictures. The set also includes two nudie-cutie shorts from Barry Mahon (which feature Darlene Bennett, star of My Brother's Wife) and a gallery of promotional material from Wishman's pictures. This is a superb look into Wishman's strange world of cinema, and '60s sleaze aficionados will be very happy with the presentation."
