The Sin Syndicate/Sin Magazine/She Came on the Bus

"Three especially sleazy ""roughies"" from the archives of sexploitation enthusiasts Something Weird Video are upgraded to DVD on this ""Sinful Triple Feature"" release. The Sin Syndicate, Sin Magazine, and She Came on the Bus have all been transferred to disc in their original full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1. While the source prints for all three movies have some noticeable scratches and splices, they look better than Something Weird's previous VHS releases of these titles, and a certain grimy appearance is entirely appropriate for the material. The audio for all three pictures has been mastered in Dolby Digital Mono, and the sound is as good as can be expected for low-budget adult films of this era, though no better. Seven vintage sexploitation trailers have been included as a bonus (including previews for The Sin Syndicate and She Came on the Bus), as well as a gallery of pressbook artwork accompanied by radio spots for various grindhouse attractions. If this isn't the best looking of Something Weird's releases, it's hard to imagine anyone else bringing these movies to DVD, and if you're fascinated by the twisted underbelly of 1960's cinema, this is one disc you'll want to check out."
