"Pee-Wee Herman, the character created by former Groundings member Paul Reubens, debuted with his own children's television show in January of 1986. This box set contains every episode from the third, fourth, and fifth seasons of Pee Wee's Playhouse, as well as six episodes that have never before been aired publicly. The show garnered nearly two-dozen Emmys, but came to a quick end after Reubens was arrested at an ""adult"" movie theater."
