Weasels Rip My Flesh

"Long available only on VHS at comic-book conventions and in bootleg form, the debut feature from low-budget cult filmmaker Nathan Schiff finally received a DVD release with this disc from Image Entertainment. Part of Image's Cult Cinema Collection, the blood-soaked sci-fi horror film deals with a giant weasel who has a taste for human flesh. The gore-fest has been digitally remastered, with a director-approved full-screen transfer and a Dolby Digital Mono soundtrack. The special edition DVD also includes a cornucopia of special treats for fans. Schiff offers insight into the making of the film both in a feature-length audio commentary track and in an interview. Interviews with stars John Smihula and Fred Borges are also included along with trailers and a still gallery. Perhaps best, though, is the inclusion of five short films by Schiff, April Morning, Radik Raymond, The Day the Dog Went Insane, Katherine Khullman Lets It all Hang Out, and Mission Destroy."
