Set in 1963, episodes followed Lieutenant Mike Torello (Get Shorty) of Chicago's Police Major Crime Unit, during his ongoing pursuit of slick and elusive mobster Ray Luca (Anthony Denison). As Luca's power grew exponentially - boosting him from the gritty streets of Chicago to the casinos of Las Vegas - Torello's drive to catch him only became more obsessive.
