This comedy finds a fumbling butcher's assistant trying to gain entry to a hospital. Norman (Widsom) faithfully follows his boss to the hospital when his employer swallows a watch and must undergo surgery. Norman is booted from the facility by the pompous hospital director. He spends the rest of the film engaging in a series of slapstick schemes to re-enter the building.
