White House Pets

United States history isn't just about people and events, but animals as well, particularly pets. It's been an unofficial tradition for Presidents and other notable White House residents to allow a wide variety of animals inside the hallowed halls. Among them have included William Howard Taft's cow, Roosevelt's menagerie of domesticated and wild animals, Woodrow Wilson's pet ram, among many others. This program offers a retrospective on these historical animals as well as more recent four legged additions to the famous address.
