"This DVD features the Dead Kennedys' early San Francisco concert years (1979 to 1981) and proves that hardcore punk never really evolved much past the level to which the Dead Kennedys took it. The wild, pumped up music had nowhere else to go but back into the swamp of heavy metal excess that Jello Biafra and company so steadfastly avoided.
