Filmmaker Sam Raimi's take on the classic horror film follows the Bowen family as they attempt to secure a fresh start by moving into an idyllic house in the suburbs. However, not long after unpacking the house is gripped by a seemingly unnatural force whose singular goal is to terrorize each member of the family. Even as they lose their grip on reality the Bowens must come together to rescue their little girl when she is abducted by the vengeful spirits. Sam Rockwell and Rosemarie Dewitt co-star.
