When Glenn Tyler gets in trouble with the law, he is shipped off to live with his unscrupulous uncle. Forced pay visits to psychiatrist Irene Sperry, Glenn's love of writing is encouraged by the widowed woman. With newfound dreams and ideals, Glenn sets off to college make something of himself.
