"John Lafia's horror film Rats comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.78:1. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.0 and Dolby Digital Surround. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a making-of featurette. This is a fine release from 20th Century Fox with solid video and audio quality that will appeal mostly to genre enthusiasts."
