Stuck on You [P&S]

"Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear play conjoined twins in the Farrelly Brothers comedy Stuck on You. This DVD contains a standard full-frame transfer of the film that fails to preserve the original theatrical aspect ratio of the movie. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while Spanish and French soundtracks have been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. The disc offers a healthy amount of supplemental materials, headed by a commentary track by co-directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly. As with other commentaries the Farrellys have recorded for their other films, this track is heavy on the boys pointing out the various friends and celebrity athletes that appear in the margins of seemingly every shot in the film. They also confess to some surprising influences for Stuck on You, including Y Tu Mam? Tambi?n. There are also a handful of deleted scenes, three making-of featurettes, including one on how they created the perfect makeup to show how the two were stuck together, trailers, and a better-than-average blooper reel. This is a fine release for what it is, but purists should be aware that a disc offering the same extras as well as a widescreen transfer of the film is also available."
