My Blue Heaven

A married team of radio performers struggle to have a family while launching a television career in this musical comedy. Tragedy strikes when the two (Dan Dailey and Betty Grable) get into a terrible car wreck that costs Grable her baby. Later, the doctors tell her that she can never have children. The pair are heartbroken and so try adoption. Unfortunately, the agencies disapprove of show people and frustrate the pair with mountains of bureaucratic obstacles. The two are ecstatic when they finally get a baby, but unfortunately, it must be returned. The pair go to another orphanage and find a new child. About that time the first baby returns. Rounding out their family is the joyful news that Grable is also pregnant.
